0:08 – This is the view of Hedingham Medical Centre from the access road as you approach the Work Hub on the left.
0:14 – This view shows an Ambulance Parking Bay for emergencies combined with drop-off area in front of the main entrance.
0:16 – Here you can see the landscaped area and main entrance leading to the waiting area and reception desk.
0:20 – The portico in front of the entrance provides shelter for queueing and solar shading for the waiting area on the ground floor. Above the portico is a staff accessible terrace with planters. The vertical brise soleils placed in front of the glazed curtain facing south-east reduces solar gains.
0:29 – The secondary access point with a glass canopy is used for staff and emergency access.
0:42 – The west side vehicle access to the site is dedicated to the Medical Centre Partners, who will be able to access the building independently from the Main Entrance.
0:48 – The Photovoltaics installed on the roof flat areas are not visible from ground level. These will reduce the overall carbon footprint of the building to achieve BREEAM Excellent ratings of sustainability.
0:57 – The Medical Centre landscaped area is provided with ramps to facilitate site access from the existing pedestrian network for all abilities.
1:04 – The dispensary is accessible for deliveries below a cantilevered canopy.
1:12 – An external drug dispensing hatch is available for out-of-hours services next to the main entrance.
